Is it proper to celebrate both

Well in a few days it will be my old anniversary, I mean the one from the first time I was married. I've been thinking about whether or not it would make sense to celebrate this date or the one where we got remarried in a court room. I always liked the first date but there were problems with the first go round and I'm not sure that it would be the correct date to celebrate.

A Case Of The Mondays

It's Monday night and today was a long day. One of those days when things just seemed to drag out.
But now I'm sitting here with P, enjoying a movie and trying to look past this bad day so I can move on to the next day at work..... yeah..... that sucks just thinking about it. One good point about today is that I'm tired, but not as tired as I will be this weekend. This weekend is new years, but instead of spending it with my family I will be spending it at work. I can say that working holidays isn't a common practice for my line of work. I mean they pay me very well normally and even more so on the weekends or holidays. Because of that it is very hard to turn down working twelve hours a day throughout the entire weekend.

movie night

Well so far tonight has been cookies, cupcakes and movies. The first movie was All About Steve, which is probably more about comedy than anything else. It starts with a blind date, moves into stalking then off to a softhearted everyone is wonderful ending. Granted this isn't my idea of a blockbuster film but it is definitely a good way to lighten the mood with a date.

P.S. there is also lots of nice shots of Katy Mixon's cleavage!

Now off to 500 Days Of Summer.

the holidays are still here

It seems like we weren't the only ones looking to use some movie gift cards! I believe the entire Charleston valley was out at the movies today, cause when we pulled up and saw the line wrapped outside the building, it was obvious that today wasn't going to be the best time to try and see a movie. So alas, we didn't see any movie but instead chose to have an incredible meal at olive garden. Now we are home, big red the snake has been fed his six week treat of a live mouse, and Paige is hard at work playing the Beatles rock band. Lmao, I had a sneaky suspicion that wasn't just going to be a gift for the kids!

A new start

Ok, this isn't my first blog but since my other one has been locked down due to it's stress on me i have decided to have another. It is my decision to focus this blog on all the great things that happen during my daily life, and not on the stresses of relationships. So to start off, I will say that today has the capacity to be an awesome day! There are plans for a movie, shopping, then a family trip to olive garden. The only question will be what movie we can all decide on, will it be a cartoon, another cartoon, or a action/cartoon movie lol.
Here is the cartoon.

Then we have the other cartoon.

And finally the last one.

Now there has been another option....
